Monster soul removal

Hey guys, I am thinking of removing the monster souls in the game. I know for a fact that I will run out of ideas for soul abilities after a few more 100 souls. So what should I do about them? Maybe I should remove them from the game and just focus on skills and parkour?

It's like this:
Whenever I use a monster soul in battle, I gain new skills and stat boosts. If I use an Gumallow Soul in battle, I get an increase in defense and I gain an ability to create a shield to block for one attack. I know I will run out of extra skills every 100 monsters. So should I remove this monster soul mechanic?

If you want to, the game doesn't have to be very complicated. I guess you can let other people help thinking idea if you want to keep the soul mechanics.

I will give out two choices because I am not going to add the extra skills because I think they might interrupt the flow of the fast gameplay. Some skills may slow Jack down like using a shield or something.
1. I completely remove the monster soul mechanics
2. I can use the souls to modify my existing skills by raising it's power and adding elements to it for greater damage against certain enemies.

I like the second option. That way, the monster's serve a greater purpose.
